About Mediation Training Institute
Mediation Training Institute (MTI-Nigeria) is registered in Nigeria (RC 653923) to provide requisite Certification training in Conflict Management, Mediation Skills and Leadership. It also provides Mediation and Consultancy services for individuals, corporate bodies and the government. It trains prospective candidates, develops best practices and standards in the field and encourages organizations and institutions to adopt Mediation as primary mechanism for addressing inter and intra – institutional disputes. With headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria, MTI-Nigeria organizes and runs both local and international training programmes.

A BRIEF PROFILE
‘Segun is an acclaimed mediator and trainer of mediators. He holds a first degree in Mechanical Engineering with extensive experience in Training and Human Capital Development. He brings to the mediation process, the creativity and ingenuity of an Engineer – calling the process, “Human Engineering“. He also holds a Masters’ degree in “Peace and Conflict Studies”.
’Segun has consulted for and trained mediators for the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), Mid-Western Oil and Gas (MWOG), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), German Agency for International Development (GIZ), DFID: Justice for All (J4A), Mercy Corps (MC), International Republican Institute (IRI), West African Network for Peace-building (WANEP), Kofi Annan International Peace-making Training Centre (KAIPTC), Heartland Alliance Int’l (HAI), International Rescue Committee (IRC), Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Partnership Initiatives In the Niger Delta (PIND), etc.

A BRIEF PROFILE
OLUWAFISAYO STEPHEN AYITA is a young and energetic man with not only good communication skills but also effective disputes resolutions skills as a chartered mediator and conciliator. These skills help him builds and sustains relationships. He believes in using audience therapy in clients’ management cum empathy which he generously gives to assuage those that comes his path a soothing end. As a legal practitioner, teacher, chartered Arbitrator and chartered Tax Accountant, he believes in human empowerment through proper training and education. He is a team player and result oriented at minimum cost. He is on a panel of neutrals of the Abuja Multi-door Courthouse (AMDC).
