Rosemary Chikwendu is a Lawyer, a Mediator, an Arbitrator, and a Negotiator.
She holds a first degree in law and an LLM in International Commercial Law. She has practiced law for over 32 years with pro-bias for human rights, particularly the rights of women and children.
She was trained in Alternative Dispute Resolution by many renowned institutions within and outside Nigeria. These include:
- Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators Nigeria (ICMC) as an Associate, Fellow and a Trainer

She is a founding partner of Chikwendu & Chikwendu & Co a firm of Legal Practitioners, Mediators & Arbitrators.
She is a mediation trainer, and a member of the training faculty of ICMC, the Peace Building Systems Development Consult (Mediation Trainers and Consultants.) and the Mary Evergreen Foundation and My Take Initiative,
She sits as a Mediator & Arbitrator at the Abuja Multi-Door Court House of the FCT Judiciary, Dispute Resolution Centre of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Citizens Rights Center Enugu, Dispute Resolution Center of the Federal High Court, Mary Evergreen Dispute Resolution Centre and My Take Initiative Dispute Resolution Center.
She was an Alternative Dispute Resolution Consultant for the United Nations Office on Drug and Crime (UNODC) from 2014 to 2016, and the Abuja Law Development institute in 2015.
She is the Executive Director of Peace Building Systems Development Consult, Mary Evergreen Foundation, and My Take Initiative.
