Line Brylle

Line Brylle, Global Armed Violence Reduction Advisor – Danish Refugee Council: has worked for over a decade in managing programmes for international organisations within the fields of humanitarian mine action, conflict resolution, protection and humanitarian assistance – working mainly in Central Africa (DR Congo; Central African Republic) and in the Sahel region.

In her current position as Global Armed Violence Reduction Advisor for the Danish Refugee Council – Danish Demining Group (DRC-DDG), Line supports programming worldwide, covering more than 10 countries. These experiences include conducting training and supporting teams in Afghanistan, North-Eastern Nigeria, Sahel, Cameroun, Somalia and other. The work is focused on advising on community-based safety approaches, supporting staff and communities with conflict management and developing mediation and dialogue initiatives.

Line is a member of the network Nordic Women Mediators (NWM), Danish chapter, and is also involved in the Global Alliance of Regional Women Mediators Networks. She is also a member of the Danish Network for Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding (NCPPB).

Line has an academic background in Anthropology of Development (MA) and has a professional training in mediation.
